Sasipa Rasmidatta
Sasipa Rasmidatta (Fern) is a well-known chamber pianist and highly experienced orchestral pianist, who works for the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra since 2006, and the Maitai Orchestra since 2013. With years of experience, she has been piano and music theory instructor at the Royal Bangkok Symphony Music School since 2007. Sasipa holds the Licentiate of Trinity College London in Piano Performance with distinction, and became an Associate of Trinity College London in Music Theory in 2007.
She achieved her Doctor of Fine and Applied Arts from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, under the supervision of Prof. Dr.Weerachat Premananda and Prof. Tongsuang Israngkun na Ayudhya. With excellence in both music and academic reputation, she was awarded with HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya full scholarship through the Princess Sirivannavari Cultivated Arts Foundation in 2021, and also received an extended scholarship from the foundation to study Piano Performance Masterclass at the International Summer Academy (ISA) of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW) in 2023.
Moreover, she was attended on scholarship the Piano Accompaniment and Piano Ensemble Exchange Program at the Conservatorium, Maastricht, Netherlands in 2017.
At present, besides teaching new generation students, Sasipa still performs as a soloist and a chamber pianist with renown artists continuously.
